July 28, 2017 is World Hepatitis Day.
"Viral hepatitis is one of the leading causes of death globally, accounting for 1.34 million deaths per year – that’s as many as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis or malaria. Together, hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C cause 80% of liver cancer cases in the world." http://www.worldhepatitisday.org/en/about-us
Viral Hepatitis is not limited to one area; it affects millions of people all over the globe. Most people aren't even aware of their condition.

Healthy taco recipe. That's right.
One of my guilty pleasures in life is a really good taco from my favorite Mexican restaurant. But deep fried tortillas with greasy meat topped with cheese and sour cream isn't what you would call "healthy.'' So I have compiled a list of healthy taco recipes to keep all of us on track for every Taco Tuesday!

100 Days of Real Food Challenge (Repost)
So recently I was looking through the internet at blog posts and I stumbled across a blog written by Lisa Leake called "100 Days of Real Food Pledge." This caught my attention and I started reading into their journey. Lisa and her husband and two adorable daughters decided that they would commit to 100 days of eating only natural, locally grown, non-processed foods! They wanted to bring awareness to how much our society depends on processed foods without realizing it. You can read more about their story and try out the challenge for yourself! I have left a link below.

Infused Water Recipes
For a couple years now, there has been this craze about infused waters. What's so special about them? Well surprisingly, just by adding fruit, veggies or even herbs to your water bottle, you receive a ton of benefits.
Now we all know that a key to weight loss or staying healthy is to drink lots of water. But if you find that water alone is too boring, try some of these recipes.
- Improves your mood.
- Flushes toxins from your system.
- Fills you up so you don’t eat as much junk.
- Naturally helps your body release fat cells for water weight loss.
- Keeps food moving through your system.
- Keeps your organs healthy while you’re sweating.
- Reduces muscle fatigue while working out.
- Helps you recuperate faster from a workout.
- Keeps you from feeling groggy in the afternoon.
